Synopsis

Monday

We have a young entrepreneur at school who decides that school dinners are too repetitive and he will start selling Indian food as he is from the Asian community. He learns from recipe's and techniques that have been passed down in his family.

Tuesday

We see him get back home and he shows his family how much money he's earned. He's so happy and he's congratulated. and yet the next day he returns, doesn't say anything but is clearly unhappy.

Wednesday

So they're asked what's wrong. They describe how two kids started critisizing what he's doing and claiming that what he's selling is crap. At one point they threw one of my parcels on the floor and it went all over my trousers and they laughed.

The parents says, so what are you going to do?

"I'm going to give it up""

"don't you dare. Don't let the haters win"

"I'm going to check in with you tomorrow and see how you got on"

Thursday

"did you take your home made food to school today"
"no, I was too scared to"
"and what happened?"
"so many people were asking for food, they'd even brought money in so were disapointed"

"so are you going to do it tomorrow?"

"There's one problem"

"what's that?"

"the leader of the cool kids is back tomorrow. He is the coolest and whatever he says, everyone listens. So you think they're bad. He's even worse"

"Son, don't let others get in the way of your dream"

"but i'm scared"

"Do you think succesful business people ever get to achieve their goals by being afraid of critisism?'

Friday

We see Rahul get home and he looks really sad

dad says

"Tell me what happened"

flash back

We see the cool kid go and meet his friends. They tell him about the kid selling inian food crap. "Where?"

They point out to him where and he goes towards it on his own. 

from our chef's point of view he sees him coming and is getting afraid of what is about to happen.

"who made this?"

he stutters back

"I did"

"can I buy one"

"sure"

He takes a couple of spoonfuls

"this is good stuff. Indian is my favourite and clearly you know what you're doing"

"your friends don't seem to thinks so"

"My friends are so uncultured - They have no taste and I'll leave them to their naff jam sandwiches"

Monday

Rahul is busy cooking when his Mum comes in.

Alisha

Rahul. What are you doing? Why are you cooking all that food?

Rahul

Well Mum you're looking at the latest entrepreneur. 

Alisha

Oh yeah? Enlighten me.

Rahul

School meals are very repetitive so I've hit upon the idea of selling quality Indian food to the kids at school.

Mum

Wow. That sounds good. I look forward to hearing how you get on. For now I'll leave you to your cooking

Tuesday

We see Rahul get back home, his Mum hears him come in

Alisha

Well Rahul. How did the first day of your business go?

Rahul has a big smile on his face

Alisha

Well your smile already tells me lots

He then shows her a whole lot of cash in his hands

Alisha

Well done you. You're amazing

Wednesday

We see Rahul walk in and he's not very happy at all. 

Alisha

Rahul. What's wrong.

Rahul replies in a melancholy tone

Rahul

Nothing

Alisha

Rahul tell me. I know something's wrong.

Oh and what's happened to your trousers?

Tell me

Rahul looks up and we see a flash back.

Rahul is serving some customers when two people go up.

Jacky

Oh look at that weird kid selling crap food to these mugs

Gill

I know he's such a try hard. Stop ripping people off. 

Rahul

Guys, this is good stuff. You should try it

Jacky reaches out to a box that Rahul is about to hand to a customer and she throws it on the floor and it pops open and goes all over Rahul's trousers.

Jacky

Oops, I didn't mean to get that good stuff all over you trousers.

Gill

Just wait till Joseph get's to try it out when he's back

Jacky

Yeah, if you think I've shown you what I think about your food, Joseph will be on another level

They laugh loudly as they walk away

We are now back in the kitchen after the flash back

Rahul

I can do without the hassle so I'm going to give it up

Alisha

Don't you dare Rahul. Don't let the haters win

Rahul

Mum, that's easy for you to say. You don't have to go and face these people

Alisha

I'm going to check in with you tomorrow and see how you got on

We see Rahul come back

Alisha

We see Joseph go and meet his friends and they dap each other up

Fully recovered?

Joe

Yep, thanks to a brilliant doctor but being in hospital for 3 days isn't fun. But it's good to be back. What's been happening?

Jacky

Well there's that bozo selling naff food over there.

Gill

We showed him what he thought the other day didn't we Jacky?

They both started laughing.

Joe

Well guys. It's my turn.

We see Joe storm over to where Rahul is selling 

Jacky

I've got to see this

Gill

This will be worth the watch

from Rahul's point of view he sees Joseph coming and is getting afraid of what is about to happen.

Joe

Rahul stutters back

Rahul

Rahul

You actually want to buy one?

Joe

Yeah, here's the money

Rahul

So how was your trip to Brazil

Joe

Brazil????
I didn't go to Brazil. I was ill.
You must have misheard

They both laugh

Rahul

Yep, that's me being a plonker

Joe

Alisha

Joseph? And he's the cool kid? He's lovely I don't know what you were afraid of.
So when you came in looking all sad...

Rahul

Yep, I was winding you up. Today's been the best.
And Mum you're the best

Alisha

Son. So are you  and I can't wait to see where your talent takes you. Let me give you a hug.

Rahul

Nah, not a hug Mum. Fist pump.

So they fist pump. We zoom in and then zoom out to years later in his own restaurant.
