Scene 1 CLASSROOM
A group of children sit at their desks facing the teacher.
IVY
Sir, this detention is not fair!
ROSE
I agree .
TEACHER
Get on with your work!
BELLA
Can I use the toilet?
TEACHER
Quickly!
Bella goes out of the room.
SCENE 2 HALLWAY
Bella walks toward the toilet but a figure (THE EVIL JANATOR) steps into her path.
JANITOR
No one returns from the toilet or at least not while I'm here!.
BELLA
Please don’t hurt me!
Bella faints in fear.
Meanwhile back in classroom
Holly
Sir can I use the toilet as well please
Teacher
Okay fine but be very quick and see where Bella has got to
Holly whispers to chloe and they both giggle.
Holly leaves the classroom
Scene 3 CLASSROOM
The remaining children sit at their desks facing the teacher.
TEACHER
Why are Bella and Holly taking so long in the toilet?
CHARLOTTE
I am sure it has something to do with the evil janitor!
TEACHER
Don’t be silly!
CHLOE
It is the evil janitor.
The teacher walks toward the door.
TEACHER
I will check.
The teacher walks out.
SCENE 4 HALLWAY
The Teacher walks out and sees the janitor facing the other way and taps her on the shoulder. The Janitor starts talking while turning around.
JANITOR
I've had enough and I'm not taking it anymore, so from now on no one returns from the toilet while I'm here.
TEACHER
Please don’t hurt me!
The teacher faints in fear.
Scene 5 CLASSROOM
The remaining children sit at their desks.
CHARLOTTE
Now the teacher's gone and it's been ages. I think it's down to the the evil janitor!
CHLOE
We tried to warn Mr Vupala.
IVY
We must beat the evil janitor.
CHARLOTTE
We must stick together
Sam
Lets do it
Chloe, Ivy ,Sam, Rose and Charlotte come together and hold their hands on top of each other together in a united pose – their hands glow with super power.
They walk out of the room together full of power.
SCENE 6 HALLWAY
Chloe, Sam, Rose, Ivy and Charlotte walk toward the toilet but a figure (THE EVIL JANITOR) steps into their path.
JANITOR
No one returns from the toilet while I'm around! Ha ha ha
The kids have terror on their face as the janitor slowly approaches them. Suddenly there's a puff of smoke and a girl appears. She turns to the Janitor and freezes her. Then turns back to the kids
Ayla
I'm from the world of magic and I'm here to save all of you and to save the Janitor.
CHLOE
But the Janitor doesn't need saving.
Ayla
Oh yes she does, you'll see. Now listen to me carefully. These are my instructions. When I go the Janitor will wake up. You must join hands and point to the janitor and a blue laser light will hit the Janitor. You will see what will happen.
There's another puff of smoke and the magical person disappears. The kids look all around them but she's nowhere to be seen.
IVY
Right everyone. Let's do as the lady said.
The Janitor unfreezes as Chloe, Ivy, Rose, Sam and Charlotte bring their hands together and shoot a beam at the evil janitor. The janitor wobbles and then a look of realisation comes over her.
JANITOR
Guys, I am so sorry. I've been a horrible horrible person.
CHLOE
Why were you being horrible?
JANITOR
I've been treated very badly by someone and such was my anger that I have been taking it out on everybody even the people that have been nice to me. I am so so sorry. I hope you can forgive me.
all the kids look at each other and then in unison say
Kids
Yes
CHARLOTTE
Are you sure you're no longer angry.
JANITOR
No, as if by magic all the anger has gone.
Chloe, Ivy, Sam, Rose and Charlotte cheer and celebrate together.
Rose
I’m so glad. Perhaps it really was magic.
Rose winks at the others
Sam
Lets go get the others
Bella and Holly suddenly appear
Bella
No need we're here
Holly
and we're fine.
Suddenly the teacher gets up
Teacher
You know what? I'm not feeling too well. I think I'm going to have to go home. Kids, have the rest of the day off.
The kids look at each other and then all jump in the air cheering. We freeze frame and go to closing credits and music
