Scene 1: At home

Older sibling

Yeah, well maybe I’m not interested. Have you thought about that?”

Alex

Older sibling

Well here’s my opinion

The older sibling takes the cd out of the younger’s hands and breaks it. And then just walks away.

Scene 2: The school corridor

The younger sibling is going along the corridor with friends when they see the older sibling approaching with theirs. They are the cool gang. The younger sibling is wearing their favourite scarf and the older sibling snatches it and they start playing a game of throwing it at each other while the friends of the younger one try to get it. They don’t succeed and the cool kids run off with it. Then one of the cool gang says:-

Friend 1

You know, that kid in the wheelchair

Older sibling

Yeah

Friend 1

There’s something about them that makes me think they’re your sister (or brother)

Friend 2

I know what you mean

Older sibling

You guys need your eyes testing

Friend 3

Is there something you’re not telling us

Older sibling

Yes, there is. That I’m an expert scarf Ninja

He attacks he’s friends with the scarf in a friendly way and they are laughing

Scene 3: The performance

We see a teacher announce to a class that they’ve been called to a special performance and to follow him. The follow as he leads them into a dark room where there’s an announcement.

Announcer

What you’re about to see and hear is a group of young students that we couldn’t be more proud of. They have worked hard to put this together.

The lights are turned on and we see the younger sibling in the wheelchair at the front with a number of performers behind them. We hear the music start. Suddenly the older sibling throws the scarf onto the younger sibling. It lands on their head and the audience start laughing. The piano player stops playing. The teacher storms towards the older sibling having a go but the younger sibling while taking the scarf of their head says.

Teacher

How dare you…

Younger sibling

Sir, it’s ok. Please don’t tell them off

Teacher

I won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour

Younger sibling

I understand but could you leave it for the moment while we perform?

Teacher reluctantly nods

Younger sibling

Thank you

The music starts again. The cool kids are still laughing and looking smug after getting away with it. We alternate camera from performers to audience as we see a change as the audience realise how good the performance is. By the end the audience are on their feet applauding. The cool kids are talking

Scene 4: Back home

The older sibling is on the computer when the younger sibling approaches

Why did you try to embarrass me?

Younger sibling

The only one that should be embarrassed is me.
