Hi Frank I just wanted to write and say how much I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of Quarterville last night. To be honest I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as you had previously told me it was an ‘immersive’ piece. Well, what a treat it was! What struck me the most and what I really appreciated was the pure rawness of the show. It was actually so very satisfying not to have loads of fancy props, staging, lighting or backdrops. This was so much more than that. This was a group of talented and dedicated young people and a simple (and cleverly created) monument in the town square which allowed them to tell their story perfectly and send an important message to us all. Quite a few times I found myself totally ‘immersed’ in the performance. It was fantastic to be listening to your songs being sung so brilliantly from the back, sides and front of the room. I loved feeling like I was right there in the town square, being able to see facial expressions and literally feel each characters presence. I definitely had quite a few goose bump moments throughout the performance! Huge congratulations to you on writing yet another wonderful show and a huge well done to all the amazing cast and to everyone at Crescendo that help put this together with you. I’m already looking forward to seeing what is coming up next! Best wishes

Wow wow wow wow wow! How amazing! Tonight I was able to come and watch the closing performance of QuarterVille The Musical! This performance was just incredible and each and every cast member played a valuable role in making the show meaningful and wonderful. Abbie North who played Lucia has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard and although not my first time watching Abbie perform I was still in awe of her whilst she was on the stage. She had a strong stage presence and I believed every word she said and sung. Lucas Greenwood played the charming and lovable Kalogeros and did an amazing job at this. His voice was flawless and you could hear him stand out even in the ensemble. Anastasia was played by Sinead and what a character she was. I am impressed at the way she held her character through the performance and although her character was a bully, she was still so hard not to watch. Peter Jacobs playing Edward Wainwright- what a character! Funny! Spot on! Perfect characterisation! Are just some of the ways I would describe Peter’s performance. Finally a MASSIVE congratulations to the writer, director and musician behind QuarterVille the Musical Frank Scarito! A perfect way to outline some of the problems surrounding multi-culturism in today’s day and age. A very big well done to all other cast members. Hopefully there will be another performance to look forward to soon. @quarterville_the_musical
